I started taking piano lessons as a child and have loved the piano ever since. As I grew older, I started to become more curious about the actual workings of the piano. I apprenticed with a local technician and three years later passed the exams sponsored by the Piano Technicians Guild to become a Registered Piano Technician. While studying tuning, I learned to hear the piano in a whole new way and it continues to stretch my understanding of sound. Working with pianos has opened many doors in my life, and it has been a privilege to build a career from something that I truly love.
